Ten Moore Books

Author and illustrator, Hailey Moore is the creator of Ten Moore Books, a publishing business that offers teacher lesson plans, along with activity and coloring pages that accompany Hailey’s first self-published children’s picture book. Her goal is to improve children’s literacy through fun and engaging material that she creates to keep students engaged and excited about reading.

Hailey sought help from the SBDC before she started her business. Consultant Jim Keeler has helped her in a wide variety of areas including market research and statistics to aid in creation and refinement of a business plan, establishment of a legal entity, resources to apply for grants, and assistance with financials. Within the first five months of working with SBDC, Hailey received her first grant through the California Dream Fund.
