Strategies businesses can use to create a strong brand and identify key buyer personas are among topics in this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will begin with news and brief updates on programs that affect small business recovery. He will be joined by Melissa Forziat, a nationwide professional marketing speaker, consultant, and author based in Southern California. Forziat will provide tools businesses can use to create a strong brand identity and reach a variety of personality traits through marketing. These include buyer motivation, use of powerful words in messaging, setting a brand’s voice and tone, and identifying buyer personas or social styles.

Forziat works with corporate clients and small business owners to create strategic marketing plans. She is author of the free eBook “Small Business Marketing on a Budget.”

Questions from attendees will be taken during the live webinar.
