Host and director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by Mary Anne Bradfield, Public Information Officer with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience, Western Field Operations Center. Bradfield will discuss current disaster declarations in Kern, Inyo and Mono counties, recent changes the SBA made to its disaster lending program, available relief options for businesses and residents for physical damage and economic loss, and how current disasters differ from earlier weather-related declarations. 
 
Bearden will also be joined by Raquel Jimenez, Business Development Manager for Access Plus Capital. Jimenez will provide an update on several of the microlender’s government-backed loans and other programs. 
 
The webinar will begin with Bearden providing updates on the Bakersfield Entrepreneurship Grant Program, the economy, weather-related disaster assistance for businesses from local, state, and federal governments, and capital resources programs. 
 
Questions from attendees will be taken.
