Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by economist Mark Evans, emeritus professor from CSUB. Dr. Evans will provide a monetary policy update and discuss the contributions of this year’s Nobel economics prize winner, Claudia Goldin, and her research on the gender pay gap in the workplace.  
 
Kelly will also be joined by Nancy Robles, sustainability consultant with Environmental Innovations, Inc. Robles will discuss how she helps businesses in Kern and Fresno counties to save money with energy assessments and rebates to upgrade HVAC, appliances, and lighting.   
 
Questions from attendees will be taken.
