*WEBINAR WEDNESDAY: How to Crowdfund for Your Small Business

On this week’s free webinar, host and SBDC director Kelly Bearden will be joined by SBDC consultant James Thomsen, who specializes in business management, funding sources and international trade. Thomsen will discuss how to use crowdfunding as a way to raise money to help finance startups and small businesses.  

Prior to the SBDC, Thomsen retired as president of Outdoor International at VF Corporation where he was responsible for acquisitions that included Eastpak, Kipling, Vans, The North Face and others.  

Bearden will begin the webinar with a look at strategies to start, grow and expand existing businesses.  

Questions from attendees will be taken.
