Details on how to apply for Venture Accelerator, a free 10-week entrepreneurship boot camp program being offered through the CSUB’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation will be among topics of this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will begin the webinar with a look at the economy, capital resources, and updates on remaining government pandemic relief programs.

Bearden will be joined by Dr. Seung Bach, interim dean of the CSUB School of Business & Public Administration, and Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI). Dr. Bach will discuss results from the first set of entrepreneurs to complete the Venture Accelerator program that ended in a pitch competition for seed capital in November. The free 10-week entrepreneurship boot camp program is now accepting applications for its second cohort beginning in February 2023.

Questions from attendees will be taken.
