Types of equity funding and a look at the current funding climate with entrepreneur Kurt Friedmann, founder of the KJF Group and co-founder of World Mentor, are among topics of this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.  

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will kick off the webinar with updates on remaining available government relief programs, a look at the economy and its drivers, and small business recovery opportunities. 

He will be joined by Friedmann who will talk about small business investment and the current funding climate he presently sees in daily investor discussions and his work on several funding raises. Additional topics will include types of equity funding, issues entrepreneurs are facing, and what startups can do to prepare themselves. 

Friedmann is an investor, advisor, and mentor to more than 250 startup companies throughout North America. He has also worked with Fortune 500 companies in customer feedback management, training and development, and sales management for 25 years. 

Questions from attendees will be taken.
