From realizing a need to raising the necessary capital, we discuss the challenges startup companies face and how to navigate and overcome them from a grassroots entrepreneur. We also cover manufacturing and scaling up from a prototype to an actualized and refined product.
After spending several years in the food service/catering industry, Nate Stein recognized the need for water conservation and improved efficiency in dishwashing. This need inspired him to create a crude prototype of what eventually became the PLATESCRAPE water saving product. Nate has succeeded in crossing the five-year threshold and now has multiple products and global contracts as the food service industry has recognized the value of his line of innovative products.
