Helping Your Business Start, Grow and Succeed

With $4 billion available every year, the U.S. government's Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs are a source of startup grant money and seed capital for early-stage companies to conduct research and development that leads to commercialization of novel innovations and technologies.

On this week’s free webinar, host and SBDC director Kelly Bearden is joined by Charles Eason, Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) advisor with the SBDC to discuss details of the SBIR and STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) programs, qualifications and eligibility requirements for funding, and insights on how to prepare and submit a proposal for the competitive process.

Kelly begins the webinar with a look at the economy, available capital resources programs, and more.

This marks the 327th episode of the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” business series that provides news and information helpful to employers and business owners. The CSU Bakersfield Small Business Development Center provides free one-on-one business advising to help small business owners.
